POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
• If candidates have any questions or concerns about their program, progress or relationship to other students or teachers, we encourage communication with the head teacher or studio manager. We will do all we can to resolve any difficulties immediately.
• If a student has special needs, please let our studio manager know when enrolling.
• Impart prides itself on having highly qualified and trained artists/teachers working with all students. If you have a special request for a particular art project that is not a part of the Impart program, please discuss it with the teacher to be sure that it meets the proper skill level of the students. Final determination of the requested art project may be made by the studio manager.
· CANCELLATIONS
• Please notify the office in advance if you will not be re-enrolling for the next month.
• If a student is more than ten (10) minutes late to class, the student’s bench may be given away (for that class only) to a student waiting for a makeup, unless prior arrangements have been made with the office.
• Classes cancelled due to force major conditions like bandh, flood, strike etc shall be re-conducted on a weekday as a special class.
• Classes cancelled due to absence of the artist due to unavoidable circumstances, shall be re-conducted on a weekday as a special class.
· MAKEUP CLASSES
• Please make every effort to attend your classes regularly as scheduled.
• If the office is not notified of an absence at least one hour prior to the beginning of class, the makeup is forfeited. Please call and leave a message or write an email to the office to cancel classes. This policy also applies to scheduled makeup classes.
• We request that a makeup be scheduled within four (4) weeks from the date of the absence. When necessary, we will allow a makeup to carry over into later months, if the student is enrolled.
• Makeups do not take the place of regularly scheduled classes.
· COACHING
• Fees are only paid for by the month (not by the class), and the fee stays the same for months that have either four or five weeks.
• Fees should be paid in the last class of the month to secure the student’s place for the following month. If fees is not received on time, the student’s place cannot be guaranteed.
• Unless prior arrangements are made with the office, if a student’s joining is more than two weeks past due, the student may lose his/her place to someone on the wait list.
• Coaching credit is not given for missed classes.
• Coaching is not transferable from one month to another due to poor attendance or any missed classes.
• If a student registers for classes later than the first week of the month, coaching will be prorated for that month.
• Prorating for family vacations or emergencies may be done once a year per student.
· REGISTRATION
• Registration fees is charged once and shall not be charged again even if the candidate takes a break. However the break should not be more than 6 months. If so then registration fees shall be charged again.
· ANNUAL ART SHOW
• Admission in Impart does not guarantee participation in the Annual Impart art show. The works will be selected on the basis of their merit after 12 months of candidates’ coaching at Impart.
· ART MATERIAL
• Impart shall not provide any art material. However, easels shall be provided by Impart.
· CERTIFICATE OF MERIT
• Candidates qualify for the Certificate of merit only if he/she completes one year of coaching.
· FEES
• Coaching fees is to be paid quarterly in advance, it is non refundable and is subject to change by the management.
· DISPUTE
• In the unfortunate case of any dispute the decision of Impart Management shall be final. Court of jurisdiction shall be Kolkata.
